apt-get purge doesn't work
The man page for apt-get shows purge as an option but it doesn't work
(I'm using sid.)
root@goldnfs:/home# apt-get purge git
E: Invalid operation purge
I'd vote to support that syntax over apt-get --purge remove
I'm willing to make up a patch if someone can tell me where I might
send it. (presumably this email address?)
On a related note, has anyone thought about making apt a command? I
sometimes wonder why it's apt-cache and apt-get. I always have trouble
explaining that to new users. It would be helpful if apt worked for
the common things and had bash completion.
apt install <blah>
apt remove <blah>
apt search that penguin game
