Bug#318630: reminder
Looks like this patch was forgotten about -- at least, the function still
doesn't seem to be present in the version of apt currently in unstable. I
encourage merging it, because it really is annoying having to hit 3 extra
keys every time one uses aptitude just because one has an unsigned local
repository. On my machine, i ended up turning off authentication to avoid
the hassle, which seems like a shame.
If there is another solution to this that I don't know about, perhaps this
bug could be closed, and details of the other solution could be added to the
Apt HOWTO and to the apt-secure manpage (and to either the apt.conf manpage
or the sources.list manpage, depending on where the user is supposed to
modify the configuration).
