gpg --import /usr/share/keyrings/debian-keyring.gpg
or something along this line might help too ..

Before this I tried one or more other methods to import the missing
key ... none worked: except the last one, as it seems, and yours, IIRC
...

But it took me 2 or 3 hours tonight to get this whole issue
straight. And that's definitely too much.

Thanks again Bin: You won't see any "bug" report in the foreseeable
