$ cat /etc/apt/apt.conf
APT::Default-Release "testing";
I have try without /etc/apt/preferences and with different
configuration, like this:
$ cat /etc/apt/preferences
#######
Package: *
Pin: release a=stable
Pin-Priority: 700
Package: *
Pin: release a=testing
Pin-Priority: 900
Package: *
Pin: release a=unstable

#######
I have tested all with abiword package that I don't have on my Sarge and
# apt-get update
$ apt-get -t stable --print-uris source abiword
$ apt-get -t testing --print-uris source abiword
$ apt-get -t unstable --print-uris source abiword
give me always the same result:
