Bug#271332: apt: proxy for IPv4 but direct for IPv6

Package: apt
Version: 0.5.27
Severity: wishlist

It would be nice to be able to tell apt it can connect to an IPv6
server directory but it must use a proxy to connection to an IPv4
server. http:proxy does not appear to allow this.
