Bug#241666: Outdated reference to user guide in man apt-get
Package: apt
Version: 0.5.24
Severity: minor
The apt-get manual page includes the following lines:
> SEE ALSO
> apt-cache(8), apt-cdrom(8), dpkg(8), dselect(8), sources.list(5),
> apt.conf(5), apt-config(8), The APT User's guide in
> /usr/share/doc/apt/, apt_preferences(5), the APT Howto.
This information is somewhat misleading, presumeably outdated. Firstly, the APT
User's guide resides in /usr/share/doc/apt-doc/, and secondly, it does so only
after installation of the apt-doc package.
Regards, and many thanks for providing fine software
