The trick is to make sure it can automatically detect and restart the
database files, aside from the API changes in db3. James/etc might get a
bit cross if they upgrade to a db3 version since it literally takes
_hours_ to rebuild those cache files, but that is a one time event.
apt-ftparchive is 'fun' to change because you _don't dare break it_ since
the only serious user is ftparchive and noticing a subtle bug in the
package files is not easy.
