Package: python-apt
Version: 0.5.5.1
Severity: minor

Hello,

there are some editor backup files included in the python-apt source
archive. I think that these should be removed before the next upload.
The files in question are

    voss@plonk [~] tar tfvvz python-apt_0.5.5.1.tar.gz | grep ".#"
    -rw-r----- mdz/mdz 707 2002-02-24 00:58:45 python-apt/debian/.#control.1.5
    -rw-rw---- mdz/mdz 15948 2002-02-24 06:03:28 python-apt/python/.#configuration.cc.1.2
    -rw-rw---- mdz/mdz 24052 2002-02-24 06:10:10 python-apt/python/.#cache.cc.1.2
    -rw-rw---- mdz/mdz 3775 2002-02-24 06:11:06 python-apt/python/.#pkgrecords.cc.1.2
    -rw-rw---- mdz/mdz 3619 2002-02-24 05:23:30 python-apt/python/.#generic.h.1.2
    -rw-rw---- mdz/mdz 13546 2002-02-24 06:07:50 python-apt/python/.#tag.cc.1.2
    -rw-r----- mdz/mdz 25439 2003-06-03 05:01:43 python-apt/python/.#cache.cc.1.4

I hope this helps,
Jochen

This was fixed at some point when I built a new source tarball. The current
one contains no backup files.
