Bug#194430: Cannot downgrade from testing version to stable version using dselect and apt preferences

Package: apt
Version: 0.5.4

Dear all,
I am trying to downgrade my libux box from testing to stable:
I specified in the apt preferences the following lines

Package: *
Pin: release a=stable
Pin-Priority: 1001

and when I try to Install/... with dselect, aftere some download time and
messages I get the following message

dpkg - warning: downgrading debianutils from 2.4.1 to 1.16.
(Reading database ... 13273 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace debianutils 2.4.1 (using .../debianutils_1.16_i386.deb)
...
Unpacking replacement debianutils ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/debianutils_1.16_i386.deb
(--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/bin/readlink', which is also in package coreutils
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/debianutils_1.16_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Some errors occurred while unpacking. I'm going to configure the
packages that were installed. This may result in duplicate errors
or errors caused by missing dependencies. This is OK, only the errors
above this message are important. Please fix them and run [I]nstall again
Press enter to continue.

Can anybody tell me if I am wrong somewhere?

Patrick
