Please reconsider this. In combination with
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=120418 , it would be a
good technique to install optimised CPU code on a particular system
smoothly. For example, on an Athlon (i686) system, you install the
"i686" key package, in addition to the default "i386" package. An example
package, say libvorbisenc, depends on: 
i686 -> libvorbisenc-i686 | i386 -> libvorbisenc-i386

So the best version is choosen automaticaly.

NOTE: This is not another flamewar about CPU optimised packages, there
are packages where the optimisation makes sense and Camms method
(#120418) is already used, successfully.
