Package: apt
Version: 0.5.4
Severity: normal

apt-get doesn't seem to have ipv6 support...
I did a 'ping6 2001:610:100:103:290:27ff:fed6:734' and the host was up
and running.

regards,

Daniel van Eeden <daniel_e@dds.n>

Uh.

Ok. It is beyond me how you think the error messages below indicate APT
lacks ipv6 support. It even printed out the IPv6 IP it was talking to!

The problem is that your *server* lacks proper IPv6 FTP support. It did
not accept the EPRT command. The fact that APT is sending EPRT is a little
odd, you should probably turn passive mode back on.
