I think apt-cache should handle multiple patterns with an AND condition.

I even implemented this. This patch should close this bug:

(note: I sent this to the deity list, too, but got no response. If someone donates an 
hour or so of time to add a feature that I personally know a number of people will 
use to get, you could at least give *some* response, I apologize if I'm bugging).
