Bug#82738: apt: would be nice if apt-get could have an option to download a package, without it's dependencies

Package: apt
Version: 0.3.19
Severity: wishlist

It would be nice if apt-get could have an option to download a package without
it's dependencies. EG: I don't have tetex-lib, tetex-bin or tetex-extra
installed on my laptop. If I do 'apt-get -d -y --reinstall install tetex-extra',
apt-get will download tetex-extra, but also tetex-lib and tetex-bin. A command
line option like --nodepsdownload would be nice. Scripts like apt-move and my
own mirror script then don't need a binary program like fetch (shipped with
apt-move) any more, and will be binary-all again.

thanks in advance,
