Hello,

Despite this:

lucretia:~$ dpkg -I /var/cache/apt/archives/libsdl1.2_1.2.2-3_i386.deb |
grep Depend
 Depends: libsdl1.2-all (=3D 1.2.2-3) | libsdl1.2-oss (=3D 1.2.2-3) |

grep Depend
 Depends: libc6 (>=3D 2.2.3-7), xlibs (>> 4.1.0)

and this:

lucretia:~# apt-get -f install

lucretia:~#

apt tells me this:

lucretia:~# apt-get install libsdl1.2{,-oss}/unstable

In reality, no extra packages are needed at all. Installing the downloaded
packages manually with dpkg -i works just fine.

Filip

That means nothing, likely the other packages depend on the ones you are
installing. Dpkg ignores those relations APT does not.
