Bug#92033: apt: Weird broken behavior
Package: apt
Version: 0.5.3
Severity: important
I get this weird error:
~# apt-get -f install
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Correcting dependencies... failed.
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
e2fsprogs: Conflicts: quota (< 1.55-8.1) but it is not installed
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.
E: Unable to correct dependencies
Why on earth the uninstallability of a CONFLICT should be a problem
is beyond me.
Using --ignore-hold did not help.
