hi there,

apt-get hangs when installing, example:

benz:~# apt-get install ae
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  ae 
0 packages upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 15 not upgraded.
[hang]

my source is multiple cd (potato). pstree shows:

 |-xterm---bash---bash---apt-get---cdrom
 |-xterm---pine420
 `-xterm---bash---pstree

                                   ^^^^^
there is a cdrom process, when i kill this process, apt continues.

this also happens when startet in the console.
