Bug#58923: gnome-apt depends on missing libapt-pkg2.6
Package: gnome-apt
Version: 0.3.6
When I try to get gnome-apt using apt(dselect or
apt-get), it says it needs a package that it can't
find, more specifically the libapt-pkg 2.6. Here is
what appears:
"gnome-apt depends on libapt-pkg 2.6
libapt-pkg 2.6 does not appear to be available"
I have main, contrib and non-free software configured
for apt. The package can't be found using
www.debian.org's search engine.
I'm using Debian potato( a week old), linuxl 2.2.14
