Package: apt
Version: 0.3.17
Severity: important

Line 67 of /usr/lib/dpkg/methods/apt/install uses the construct '=3D=3D',
which may not be supported if /bin/sh isn't linked to /bin/bash. It
just needs to be shortened to '=3D'. Ash, for example, will generate the
error "[: =3D=3D: unknown operand".

I've submitted this issue as priority important because it breaks the
apt method of dselect when ash is used as /bin/sh, which I understand
from the mailing-lists is not an uncommon situation.

Thanx!
