this is a snippet from Packages.gz in frozen/main/binary-i386:
Package: mesag-dev
Version: 3.1-17
Priority: optional
Section: devel
Maintainer: James A. Treacy <treacy@debian.org>
Depends: mesag3 (= 3.1-17), libc6-dev
Conflicts: mesa-dev, libgl-dev
Provides: libgl-dev
Architecture: i386
Filename: dists/frozen/main/binary-i386/devel/mesag-dev_3.1-17.deb
Size: 584694
MD5sum: 89bd3afbcb20139c53509dd774298a60
Description: Development library for Mesa [libc6].
Includes headers and static libraries for compiling programs with mesa.
source: mesa
installed-size: 1817
where you can see that mesag-dev provides libgl-dev. The
same is reported by
http://www.debian.org/Packages/frozen/devel/plib-dev.html
where you can see that plib-dev depends on mesag-dev.
I'm not sure if this is an apt bug or something like this,
what version of apt are you using and what do you have in
your /etc/apt/sources.list?
This is certainly not a grave bug against plib-dev. Therefore,
I'm downgrading it to normal.
Apt team, could you please tell if this is an apt issue?
Regards,
