Bug#36283: Apt dependency checking is broken?

  Apt refused to install python-gnome and python-gdk-imlib for me:

  (the same thing happened when I had python-gtk already installed and tried to
   add the other two)

  Downloading the packages by hand and using dpkg to install them worked fine,
so I don't think that there's a real dependency problem.
