Subject: Apt-get when `stable' is more recent than `frozen'

Package: apt-get
Version: 0.1.9

I had the following in my /etc/apt/sources.list:

deb file:/usr/debian frozen main
deb http://www.uk.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable non-US
deb http://www.uk.debian.org/debian frozen main contrib non-free

from when I was upgrading to hamm several months ago. Upgrading to
slink required that I comment out the `frozen' line as otherwise apt-get
update told me there was nothing to do. I suspect the zero-sized files
/var/state/apt/lists/www.uk.debian.org_debian_dists_frozen_* may have
contributed to this; but it's easy enough to verify that this causes
a problem.
