Package: apt Version: 0.3.13 Apt has an unlisted dependency on debconf (0.1.65). I was installing debian on a laptop and was getting the following error /bin/sh: dpkg-preconfig: command not found E: Sub-process dpkg-preconfig --apt returned an error code (127) E: Failure running script dpkg-preconfig --apt After installing debconf everything worked fine. diane
