No package except the menu package provides a menu-method, to my knowledge.
Pdmenu used to have its own, but menu became smart enough so it was
unnecessary.
If you're talking about the files in /etc/menu-methods/, those are not
programs, they are merly scripts interpreted by install-menu and
install-fvwmgenmenu.
