What would you think about having a line in sources.list such as: proxy http://www.theproxy.com/3128 ? I know that it's possible to set an environment variable prior to running apt (http_proxy), but for reasons such as su, I thought having an entry in sources.list may be more convienant. Would you mind if I made a patch and sent it in? I haven't written it yet, but I would be more than willin to do so.
