Subject: apt-get does not install Debian 2.0 (stable) packages

Package: apt
Version: 0.0.17-1

apt-get does not get packages from the stable directory of the
debian-tree.
After changing /etc/source.list to :

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US unstable/binary-$(ARCH)/

and doing a 'apt-get update', apt insists on fetching packages from
the 'frozen'-tree
