I started to play with it and upgraded a few packages...then the next thing I knew I was thinkin gof updating all of my packages (my system hasn't really been upgraded since about 2 weeks before unstable went frozen (Which is when I burned my CD) SO I hate apt...its too good....it will be the death of me... It is so hard to stop myself from installing packages and upgrading... and I have never seen download speeds like that on this modem even for a 33.6 I always thought it slow...but wow help stop me...and why does apt-get have to be so good? im afraid to ask...is there more to apt than apt-get? no don't answer..im afraid Ill probably start using that too -Steve -- ** Stephen Carpenter ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** sjc@delphi.com ** "We do everything by custom, even belive by it; our very axioms, let us boast of free-thinking as we may, are oftenest simply such beliefs as we have never questioned" --Thomas Carlyle
