Tom, Can you add a section on exactly what each of the 3 status fields mean to your dpkg-tech doc? Right now I need to know which 'status' item means the package is still installed -- ie dpkg will not allow you to install a conflicting package. Ie I know that not-installed and config-files mean the package is not installed, but what about the rest? Thanks, Jason
