Thanks for the quick reply. We really appreciate you making an exception for
us. The combination of Apt with our graphic front end has been one of the most
enthusiastically received features of Corel Linux and really highlights one of
the great strengths of Debian over other distros. Our engineers have made the
change to the Corel Package Manager to identify it as a GPL application for
our next beta.

If you have any difficulties getting the text together, I can request our
legal department to put something together. Bruce Perens might have a
suggestion of what has been done in other similar cases.

We're looking forward to getting this issue put to rest as soon as possible so
thanks again for your quick response and for allowing us to create the Corel
Package Manager using Qt and libapt.
