Package: xfce4-power-manager
Version: 1.0.10-3
Severity: minor

xfce4-power-manager set the brightness by steps of 2 (seems to skip
one when lowering the brightness but to issue twice the command
“/usr/sbin/xfpm-power-backlight-helper --set-brightness ..” for two
consecutive levels when increasing the brightness). It detects
correctly the number of brightness levels as
“/usr/sbin/xfpm-power-backlight-helper --get-max-brightness” returns
“15”. Also, I can set directly the desired brightness level by
writing it to /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness

Note that version 0.8.5-2 did not have that problem.
