Hi!
Since the gtk2->gtk3 downgrade (hard to call this otherwise...), there's a problem
with the color picker used on Preferences|Colours.

Actually, there are _two_ color pickers used:
* the one for "Palette" is drastically less functional than the one in gtk2,
  but at least it works
* the one for the remaining settings (text colour, cursor, selection, ...)
can't be used to view or edit the current value

With the second picker, if you want to only overwrite the colour, you can do
so (even if in a convoluted way): you select what you want to change, click
"custom +", it only then calls the first picker, where you can input or
click on the value.

But if you want to read and/or adjust the setting, I haven't found a way to
do so. There's a blue field with a check mark but it doesn't appear to do
anything. Clicking that "custom +" doesn't use the old value either.

Since you already have a color picker that sort-of works, could you please
bind the picker used for palette for other color settings as well?
