I switched from Xmonad/X to Sway/Wayland in the last couple of months,
so I'm not able to confirm this, I'm afraid.

There's therefore no need to keep the bug open for my benefit, but
perhaps you want to leave it open to give others the hint if they
stumble across the same behaviour.
