Bug#986267: xfce4-appfinder: Application Finder doesn't show up xfce4's "Add New Items" window



Never mind. I thought I'd point out a deficiency, but you seem to be more interested in how I found it than the deficiency itself.

Hi Ron,

sorry but it's unclear to me what you mean when you say “I noticed …” where
exactly you noticed and what exactly you tried to do next. What is this “Add
new items” menu you're talking about ? If it is the panel plugin menu, then
there is no “application finder plugin”, but you should be able to add a
launcher, and then use the application finder as the application to be
launched.
