Bug#987268: xfce4: Xfce Upgrade Error

Package: xfce4
Version: 4.12
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?\
I ran the upgrade yesterday.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Upon completion of the upgrade, the notice was given that there were many Xfce
files no longer needed. It was suggested to use apt autoremove, which I did.
   * What was the outcome of this action?
Upon bootup this morning, there were no panels, and the icon set was different.
Also, the ability to empty the trash was lost with an error message which
stated "The name org.xfce.FileManager was not provided by any .service files".
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Should never have damaged DE.
