That's because 1.26 is a long term support version, supported until 2023 (
https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/lightdm/2019-May/001170.html) whikle
other versions have short support (1.30 support has supposedly ended in
January 2020)

Yes it is, actually (because of the above). We'll switch to the next long time
support series when it's released.
