Package: xfce4-notes-plugin
Version: 1.7.7-2
Severity: normal

top reveals that the notes plugin eats almost 90% CPU (e.g. 87% etc.)
despite not being in active use and despite the fact that the plugin
never actually appeared in the panel. Removing the plugin using xfce's
panel preferences had no effect. Only killing the process reduced CPU
usage by stopping the plugin.

I investigated because my machine seemed to always be running very hot
even with the fan going full blast and even when I didn't think I was
running very much.
