Bug#954161: xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin: display active output port (i.e. headphones vs. speakers)

Package: xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin
Version: 0.4.2-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

In pavucontol, in the "Output Devices" tab, there's a drop-down labeled "Port"
which tells me whether the output will go to "Line Out" (my speakers) or
"Headphones". It changes automatically when I plug in/unplug my headphones, so
I have no need of the changing the selection, but it would be nice if there
were an option to display this information on the panel along with the volume.

Thank you,
Daniel
