Confirm, i'm having this issue on two systems with xfce 4.12.5, lightdm 1.26.0-3, ligt-locker 1.8.0-3 and two different intel cards:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)         Subsystem: Lenovo 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller
        Kernel driver in use: i915
        Kernel modules: i915

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation UHD Graphics 620 (rev 07)
        Subsystem: Dell UHD Graphics 620
        Kernel driver in use: i915
        Kernel modules: i915

So far couldn't find any solution but have seen more ppl complaining.
