Bug#920003: xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin: vlc : cannot control correctly play/pause feature in pulseaudio-plugin 0.4.1-1

Package: xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin
Version: 0.4.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I found this bug in debian testing, but I can reproduce it on debian stretch
by adding pulseaudio-plugin 0.4.1-1.

Trying to use vlc through the pulseaudio-plugin seems to not work as expected
(maybe it is a bug related to vlc and not pulseaudio-plugin) :

1) open a media file from thunar (sometimes it is happening on
the second time, so reproduce this step more than one time).
2) click on the vlc pause button in pulseaudio plugin.
3) Try to click on the same button (now play button) to play the media file
again.

Expected result : The vlc play button is clickable and the video starts again
Actual result : The vlc play button is greyed out and you cannot start the video from the pulseaudio-plugin.
