- - not sure what you mean by “Root Thunar”, but just in case: don't run Thunar as root user - - you can declutter the side-pane as you wish by right-clicking on the “Devices” text and selecting what items you want or not.
Thanks for info, although I already know about that workaround. Anyway, I run Thunar as root ("Root Thunar") only when editing some system files not for general usage.
I also reported this bug upstream about a week ago (https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14812) together with another Thunar bug (https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14811) that is not reported for Debian so far I think.
