[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#655949: same issue, possible trigger
I found this bug report because I had same issue, running the daemon from terminal fixed it.
I discovered that the problem occurs when I attempted to log out, with solitaire running.

Using KDE Development Platform 4.8.5 (4.8.5)
Slackware 14.0
There may be something missing in the logout routine that fails, or there may be something in solitaire that refuses to let go.
More info available if needed, as I can reproduce at will.
