gvs-info from the terminal gives:

However, when I create a custom action:
gvs-info %f >gvs-info.txt
gvs-info ends up as an empty file, xdg-mime on the other hand as a
custom action works fine. That seems fishy to me. Thunar's
environment must be different than my terminal.
custom action
sh -c 'env > env.txt'
gives:
KDEDIRS=/usr/local:/usr
USER=daniel
SSH_AGENT_PID=[..blah..]
HOME=/home/daniel
DESKTOP_SESSION=default
XDG_SESSION_COOKIE=[..blah..]
GTK_MODULES=canberra-gtk-module

Which doesn't have anything obviously wrong. I'm stymied.

And that's my crabbing done for the day. Got it out of the way early,
now I have the rest of the afternoon to sniff fragrant tea-roses or
strangle cute bunnies or something. -- Michael Devore
