yes but no there's no much programs already using it.

Yeah, and nobody really requested us to provide it.

No it should be fairly easy. But it should be doable to integrate pyxfce
in Debian if it's really needed for some people. But I don't really know
if pyxfce is maintained, nor if it works fine with 4.6
