[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#466502: xfce4-sensors-plugin: shows "0" for fan speed until move is moved over
Package: xfce4-sensors-plugin
Version: 0.10.99.4~svn-r3775-1
Severity: normal
On my Mac mini Core Duo, I use the applesmc driver to gather sensor
information. The sensors output looks like this:
$ sensors
coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Core 0: +44.0?C (crit = +100.0?C)
coretemp-isa-0001
Adapter: ISA adapter
Core 1: +41.0?C (crit = +100.0?C)
applesmc-isa-0300
Adapter: ISA adapter
Master : 1806 RPM (min = 1500 RPM)
temp1: +49.0?C
temp2: +49.0?C
In the Xfce sensors plugin, the fan speed was shown with "0" after login.
However, the fan is always running with at least 1500 rpm.
The update interval is set to 30 seconds, and the 0 was shown for several
minutes after the login.
Then I moved the mouse over the sensor plugin display, and the fan speed was
immediately updated to the correct value.
