[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#463675: xfce4-icon-theme gets overidden by other themes

Package: xfce4-icon-theme
Severity: minor

xfce4-icon-theme worked fine in xfce, until i was forced by dependencies
of evince to install gnome-icon-theme. Now most of Icons of the default
startes and in xfce-menu get overidden by those of gnome-icon-theme. On
desktop and in Thunar most icons are still working (those from
xfce4-icon-theme are shown).
I have tested the issue with apt-getting the tango theme, too. The xfce4
theme got also messed up.
It seems like xfce4-icon-theme relates somehow as a ?slave? to other
icon themes and inherits a part of its icons from its ?masters?.
