Well. I'd rather see either ??v?nement? or ??v?nement? (either would be
correct). You might have missed the reform which makes ??v?nement? the
recommended spelling (since it is consistent with ?av?nement?) ?
although I agree with you that ??v?nement? is nicer. ;-)

Then that's the translator's choice whether to follow that reform and
its new recommendation.
