Given the config you attached below it looks like you're using
Smokey-Red.
You could try changing that to see if that's what's killing it.

On the off chance, in Settings > User Interface you coudl change the
font given the back trace talks about fonts.

Also have you tried quitting X, moving .config out of the way (say mv
.config .config-old) and starting up again?
