Sorry for the delay. Do you have librsvg2-common installed? My guess is
that you don't, so icon display falls back to png one, which may look
bad if the panel size is not available, as it needs to resize it, and
png doesn't support it that well.
There should be svg icons which can be resized correctly, but they won't
be used without librsvg2-common.
If it's not installed, can you install it and report back?
