[Pkg-xfce-devel] xfce-mcs-manager refresh

I wonder if we shouldn't get rid of xfce-mcs-manager refresh when
installing/upgrading new packages which have a plugin inthere.

Currently the refresh restarts the process (more or less), it takes
quite some time on not too recent machines, the gtk theme is lost during
that time, it makes crash firefox (iirc), and sometimes doesn't even
restart. If the user quits and logs back into Xfce to see if it changes
anything, frequently the change is saved with the session.

If we don't refresh at all, the new plugin won't appear when installing,
user will have to restart it manually. Maybe we could add a note in
README.Debian or something. But I think users "manually" adding
components to Xfce are not so common, and quite less than user upgrading
packages and seeing the gtk theme lost.

Thoughts ? (it'll be post-etch, though)
