Bug#1074531: libdrm-radeon1: no power management, external displays, night light or backlight on AMD Radeon 780M
Package: libdrm-radeon1
Version: 2.4.121-2
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: komendantsky@gmail.com
The current Radeon driver doesn't fully support the 780M. No external displays
are detected. There is no backlight control - the /sys/class/backlight
directory is empty. Screen brightness controls don't work. Colour temperature
control doesn't seem to work either - xrandr can't access the gamma parameters:
```
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
```
Unfortunately the proprietory ROCm driver doesn't support Debian (fails to
build) and the devs there have said that 780M is not a supported ROCm device.
