Bug#1005369: xserver-xorg-core: Breaks middle button trackpoint scrolling



Try removing 
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
then restart xorg.

xserver-xorg-input-synaptics i sno longer supported by GNOME as far as
know.
xserver-xorg-input-libinput is the replacment.
